Recipes for Green Clay Masks

Mixed to a paste with water, ARGITAL’s Green Clay transforms into a beautiful creamy green-coloured paste that is lustrous and pliant in consistency. As soon as this paste comes into contact with the skin, it creates a pleasant feeling of wellbeing.

Base Mask¹

Fine Green Clay (1 cup), honey (1 teaspoon), Sweet Almond Oil or alternatively, Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1 teaspoon), natural spring water (1/2 cup).

Four natural ingredients rich in life-giving forces and warmth from the sun.

In a cup containing the spring water, dissolve the honey, add the oil, and mix well. Then gradually add the fine Green Clay while continuing to mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This forms the Base Mask.

Precautions: After 3 minutes, the skin will start to tighten: this is a normal reaction. In some cases, after removing the mask, the
skin may redden; this too is a normal reaction for some skin types. In the case of especially sensitive skins, slight tingling and redness may occur: this is also a normal reaction.

Important: Within a few minutes of applying the mask, you will notice a pleasant feeling of freshness and relief, and once you have removed the mask, you will notice your skin has become softer.

Recommendation for optimal use: Using a small spatula, evenly apply your mask over your face and forehead, allow it to set for the specified time as
indicated in the recipe, and then remove it using a dampened sponge with lukewarm water.

Attention: in the case of acne, pimples, minor cuts or abrasions on the face or body, it is best to use Argital’s Ventilated Activated Green Clay in place of the fine Green Clay.

Nourishing Facial Mask with Milk¹

Prepare mask by combining Argital’s Green Clay (1 cup) and milk (1/2 cups). Mix well together to create a creamy mask. Apply a layer of about ½ cm thickness to the face for up to a maximum of 20 minutes. This Milk Mask leaves the skin soft and provides great hydration for dry skin. Skin will be left feeling smooth and velvety.

Slimming Bath

Add 3- 4 handfuls of fine Green Clay to bath water. When the clay comes into contact with the hot water, it will disperse immediately. While you are bathing, the movement of the arms and legs will be sufficient to keep the clay in suspension. The Clay bath will not dirty your skin, so it is suggested not to rinse off when you get out of the bath. Skin will feel softer and smoother. The clay residue can be rinsed down the drain and will not clog the plumbing.

Vaginal Douch

In a small basin or bidet containing tepid water, add 1 tablespoon of Activated Clay and mix well. Using this clay solution, douche or irrigate the vaginal area. In the latter case, it is best to pour the solution into an appropriate vaginal irrigator. It is not necessary to wash after douching or irrigation.

IF YOU HAVE LIMITED TIME TO PREPARE THE MASKS, WE RECOMMEND OUR READY TO USE MASK:
Argiltubo with Horsetail (Equisetum) Extract and Borage Oil.

1 Adding more clay will give a thicker consistency, whereas adding more water will render the mask softer and more liquid.
2 Infusions should be prepared at the time of mixing the mask.
